Creative Retreat (Level One)

Painting and pastel skills develop quickly through the inspirational and  colorful imagery on the 44 Genesis Cards. Draw yourself accurately without a mirror, paint a vase of flowers without seeing them, learn how to find humor in painting the human figure, and in the final class you'll bring together self-awareness, intuitive surprise and humor in a pastel drawing.  The flow of intuition leads to art works of great beauty and depth. The Creative Retreat workshop helps you understand what it means to be not only the artist but the master interpreter of your own art. The Genesis Cards are constant companions each week that are hidden from view until your art is completed. Enjoy 3 peaceful hours by  focusing on your creativity.  The course begins with a new B-4 sketchpad, the Genesis Way deck of 44 cards and Experiential Guidebook. No previous experience is required.

Genesis Way Certification (Level Two) 

Further develop your ability to interpret what you draw by filling a sketchbook with intuitive drawings and paintings done with eyes opened and closed. Your sketchpad grows into one cohesive art journal from the world behind your eyes with drawings related to goal-setting, helping others, self-healing, problem-solving, personal relationships, and more. Certification focuses on joyous discoveries and practical creative solutions. Become confident to use the Genesis Cards for your own intuitive and artistic development and professional use.

The final two sessions of Certification take place in private tutorials

at the Genesis art Lounge scheduled in the two weeks

following completion of classes.

Level 3 Workshop:

Painting on Canvas / Chakra Color Studies

Level 3 takes intuitive art-making through the Genesis Cards to the next level. We're going to look at the meaning of the 7 chakras, and how our own color choices in our art address our energy level around important issues and decision.  Running in 4-week cycles,  each Level 3  workshop runs 3 hours and will be divided into two parts: 1)  chakra theory and how it applies to understanding how your own energy circuit messages 2) what the Genesis Cards have to say to you through their colors  2) painting on canvas-the challenge of working on a large-scale painting to give as a "healing gift" to yourself or someone close. Think of this picture as an energetic self-portrait or portrait.
